About Me

Makeup is not a tool meant to make an ugly thing beautiful, it is meant only to magnify the beauty that already exists.

Scary Sunday

This terrifies me!! It's me in 50 years wahhhhh!

I don't know why I got the idea to do this at half 12 at night.. I think maybe I should have carried on and did the neck and deculatage! But I was already hanging for bed at this stage.

I did this with one thing.. Brown eyeshadow. Well 2 things.. I used a loose eyeshadow brush too.
I wanted imperfections.. Which is why it's not very precisely symmetrical.
With my hair spray painted grey or a grey wig this would be great for theatre.. It's a very basic look, most people would be able to do this quite easily! For Halloween or children's plays.

This is my first try at something scary! If love to get doing more out of the box stuff! Fake scars and zombie type things :D

Foundation

Before and after.

Now I by no means dislike my freckles! I think they're great! But I have the complextion of a friendly ghost! Bags under eyes.. Blemishes.. The whole lot! So I can't really go for the au natural look without a little help.

Products I used :
•Rimmel - baby skin pore minimising primer
•MAC - studio sculpt in 15nw
•Bourjois - Bronzing powder (for contouring)
•New Collection - concealer/ highlighter in the palest, "fair" ((amazing stuff!))
•Benefit - High beam
•Benefit - Coralista (blush)
Brushes I used were The Stipling Brush & Foundation Brush by Real Techniques.

I dont have my eyes or eyebrows done here. This is just my everyday foundation. So ignore the dodgey hair etc! :)

Occasion Look

I didn't want to go too heavy on this look as i was attending a christening!

I have my usual foundation routine done here.
•Primer
•Colour/blemish correcting
•Contouring and highlighting

Products I used :
•Rimmel - baby skin pore minimising primer

•Max factor - pan stick 2-3 shades darker than my foundation shade (for contouring)
•New Collection - concealer/ highlighter in the palest, "fair" ((amazing stuff!))
•Benefit - High beam
•Benefit - Coralista (blush)

For the eyes:

White Nails

White nails are so hard to get right! It's so hard to get even coverage. This is especially the case if you have long nails like I do!.. I will naturally have the two different tones. The pink of the nail bed and white of the growing nail.
Here I did a base followed by 2 layers of the white nail varnish.
I didnt do any topcoat, it's just a personal preference.. I always seem to smudge them if I put on a topcoat cause it takes so long to dry then.
I made sure my nails hadn't had any dark colours left behind from and previous nail varnish too, it would have shown through the white, making a mess of it!

I used these products:

Color show by maybelline in Winter Baby.

       Sally Hansen Hard as Nails.
