I got my course!!!!

I got into the makeup artistry course I wanted and the whole reason behind this "blog"! Yaaaaaay! 

This is how happy I am: 

Soooo delighted! I'll be putting way more stuff up on this site from now on! I can't believe I got in, after a very iffy interview, but shur!! :-D

So simple really.. It helps to look up an actual bruised face on Pinterest or Google himself! 

(Tan mitts are so manky looking arnt they?!) 

I just used red, brown, dark purple and black eyeshadows to do this.

Let's just say I've converted my mother from Clinque to MAC foundation.. They had given her the complete wrong shade!  I had to use my own foundation on her and it suits her better than any she's tried before.

Got this skirt in Penneys today, I'm in love! I like maxi skirts and I've been told I can pull them off well? Haha

I love that this one has a slit! It makes it so much easier to walk.

My necklace is Mi Moneda, my bracelets are Alex & Ani and my ring is a silver moonstone. 

My hair was curled earlier today. 

My top is see through, so I'm wearing a crop top underneath to cover the bra area... I was going to a family gathering after all :-P

Green & Yellow Eyes

I originally planned this look a while back on one of my face charts. Yellow and green are colours you would never see used as eyeshadow.. At least not in as vibrant shades as this. Extremely dramatic, Halloween, costume look!

Excuse my manky ghostly before face. I have the skin colour of an albino! 

• I used my 88 colour palette for this look as it's the only palette I have with green and yellow shades. I bought it on CrownBrush.ie. 

•The bright red lipstick is the Kate Moss range from Rimmel no1. 

• eyeliner is Rimmel Glam Eyes.

• foundation, my usual MAC. 

• eyebrows are MAC, penultimate brow pen (which I LOVE)

Debs Look

Just threw this debs look together waiting for my hair to dry. (Hence, the towel!) 

The lipstick is Rimmel in 077 "Asia"

The eyeshadows I used were all MAC, vanilla, malt and haux. All very subtle tones of brown. 

I used powder eyeliner along lash line and blended into the eyeshadow to create this subtle, smokey look. 

Benefit high beam was used on cheekbones and eyebrow arches. 

This would be perfect for a Debs for the girl who loves a very natural, subtle look!
